Problem is I suck with using complementary colors. xD

I’ll definitely take in what you’ve said though!

The thing I did here though was try to balance the colors of Xanda’s skirt and Shilven’s hair, so she’s wearing pink. D:

picking colors is so time consuming it hurts!
I tend to try colors that are either analog to the eyes/hair color and/or complementary..
Like if the hair is yellow, I’ll pick blue or violet for complementary, or orange/red yellowish-green for analog :3
And abuse the earth tones, lol, they’re neutral, so you can use them as much a syou want :3

A friend gave me a link to that site a while ago, I usually forget about it though, I’ll have to remember about it. xD;

Xanda was done without ref, Shilven was done with a couple of references for muscle placement, since I’ve always been bad at that… I wactually spent a couple of hours the other day hunting male nude-ish pictures to draw so I could get a better grasp of male anatomy X_X; (We only had a female model in our human figure drawing class)
I recomend you to go to http://www.posemaniacs.com and copy stuff from there, then drawing your characters in those poses. It’s a really good training for artists!

That reminds me my teacher is giving me back my Ishtera character book next week >o<; Can’t wait to take pictures of it! it looked so pretty but didn’t have time to take any pictures before handing it for the exam last semester Dx;
